About SEA
Squash Haven is one of twenty member programs and five international affiliates in the Squash and Education Alliance, joining over 2,000 year-round team members who challenge themselves on the court and in the classroom. All of the programs share a model where students learn the game of squash in the context of a rigorous after school team environment that emphasizes academic development, community service, and strong interpersonal team values.

The first member program, SquashBusters, was established in Boston in 1996. Since then SEA programs have helped students participate in unique summer opportunities, attend college at a much higher rate than their peers, and participate in educational partnerships with schools like Harvard, Columbia, and the University of Chicago.

While each program is an individually managed and fundraised non-profit, SEA member programs share best practices, report annual metrics for comparative purposes, and are evaluated every three years. Squash Haven's most recent evaluation was exemplary, SEA's highest designation. In addition, student participants in member programs have access to extra opportunities through the SEA network, including national SEA squash championships, summer school scholarships, and additional high level squash training.
