College Access & Persistence

Squash Haven's College Access and Persistence program provides a continuum of care for middle school program students and families throughout their high school and college years. Our program includes continued training in competitive squash, academic support and enrichment, and community service. It also provides individualized and comprehensive support for students and families through the college search, college application, and financial aid application processes in addition to Work Force Readiness training. Once students are in college, we offer ongoing support to enhance persistence rates and improve readiness for post collegiate choices.

College Persistence, By the Numbers

$1.4 Million Financial Aid awards, in dollars, committed for college and independent school students

100% of the seniors in our first four classes have been accepted at 4 year colleges

78% of students matriculate at colleges and universities ranked in the top 60 in the country according to US News and World Report

In 2016-2017, students participated in 24 college visits

On average, each student at Squash Haven receives:

65 hours of individualized test prep
60 hours of individual college application support
